It’s no secret that I like and I own quite a few things from them. I already reviewed their and you seemed to like it, too. This time it’ll be their Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation. To see some general information check out it out at. What caught my eye immediately on their official page was this ribbon of colorful facts about this foundation.

I had to „steal“ it from their site and show it to you guys. It doesn’t get much better than this. It seems like this foundation is really suited for sensitive skin. Source: As a pale girl, I got this in shade Light. Since Sun happened, it may be a tad lighter than it should so don’t mind that when I show you the swatches. Unfortunately, this foundation comes in five shades (From lightest to darkest: Fair, Ivory, Light, Light/Medium, Natural Beige) so if I go a shade darker, it will probably be an even bigger miss. The upside is that they used to have only two shades (Light and Light/Medium) so there has been an improvement.

To find out a lot more deets about this foundation (with swatches, of course) keep on reading. Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation in depth Packaging I have to be honest with you; I got this on a whim when I saw the packaging.

Rose gold cap, pink bottle, and that cute bow – I was done! Just look at this whole set! The glass bottle and the bottom of the brush are also clothed in a pink leather-like wrap. Getting a cute brush with it was just a bonus.

Bristles are densely packed, soft and snowy white. Unfortunately, the brush is too small to cover my face quickly with it. But I will use this for cream blushes or contouring. The bottle is made from frosted glass, but the shade looks much darker through the glass than when you pump it on your hand. The product is dispensed through a pump and two pumps will certainly cover your whole face.

If you still have doubts about how hypoallergenic this really is, here is a lengthy list of ingredients so you can check if there are any possible allergens for you. Formula & Coverage The formula of this foundation is really nice. It didn’t break me out and you will easily forget that you are wearing it because it really is weightless. It is nothing surprising considering that the ingredients are suitable for sensitive skin. It is also worth noting that it doesn’t oxidize on my skin. Also, every claim written on the packaging is true; it really illuminates your complexion while allowing the natural look to shine through. This foundation couldn’t have a better name: Touch of Glow is the perfect description.

It makes your face dewy and really healthy looking. If you are a matte type of girl, steer clear from this one. It’ll be a very good “winter foundation” for me. Unfortunately, it makes me too shiny when it’s hot and humid outside, but I am sure that is also due to my oily skin.

Be sure to set it with a setting powder if you don’t want to look too greasy. In a sea of yellow and neutral undertone foundations, it is hard to find pink / peach / salmon based shade. That is why I often opt for Korean cosmetics. That is why I am thankful for Physicians Formula making Ivory (pink undertone) and Fair (neutral undertone). Still, I realize that this thumbs-up from me is purely subjective so it won’t affect the grade. I just had to say a public Thank you to the ones who decided pink is the way to go.

If you want full coverage you can skip this one without regrets. This does cover redness and imperfections, but only up to a point where it still looks like your natural skin. However, since it feels smooth on your skin, putting on concealer over it will still result in a seamless look. Everything blends right in.

Below, you will see what amount one pump gives you, more than enough to cover the back of my hand. You can probably notice how it made my hand look lighter but still managed to make it look natural. Longevity This is the only section where I have bigger complaints. Without setting powder, this slips after only two hours. Not only that but if you touch it – it’ll result in greasy hands. Touching a tissue will result in some serious transfer.

It seems as if they didn’t consider a setting powder optional for this one. After all, there is an upside – all those problems disappear when set with a powder (translucent or tinted, doesn’t matter). It lasts much longer (about 8 hours) and it doesn’t transfer or slip. Still, I have to be critical here and I believe that the longevity by itself is subpar. Below, you can see how it looks applied on my face. I did only a half of my forehead to show you the difference. Don’t mind my pores and the texture of the skin.

I meant to show you how it really makes my skin look radiant while minimizing redness and not making my skin look overly done. Great for daily makeup. Price It is available at:. Prices are quite similar no matter where you buy it and are around $14. That is not too pricey, but it is on the upper part of the “drugstore foundations” range. Free brush kinda justifies it for me. I wholeheartedly recommend getting this foundation if.

your skin tone matches any shade in the range. you don’t mind dewy look. you don’t need/want full coverage Otherwise, you’ll probably dislike this foundation and that would be a shame since it is really a good drugstore foundation.

This foundation is brand new and I love it. I’m always on the lookout for a great foundation. I’ve been nursing a sample of Clinique Even Better liquid, only wearing it on special occasions because I didn’t want to fork over $27 for foundation. The new Physicians Formula Nude Wear is better than the Clinique Even Better and only costs $14.99 at Ulta. There was a buy one get one 50% off sale and I used my rewards points along with an Ulta coupon and only paid $8.69. It’s one ounce and comes with a quality brush to apply.

Touch And Glow Light

I got Light and the color matches perfectly with my fair complexion. The coverage is light but covers well. It imparts a dewy glow that my mature skin loves. I used a little loose powder on my cheeks, and I was good to go. You only use one drop on the brush and it easily covers your entire face. The label says “weightless fluid foundation dresses skin in an illuminating veil of radiance delivering just the right amount of coverage, while remaining virtually undetectable on the skin” True, true and more true. The foundation does not have an SPF, which is surprising for Physicians Formula.

But I always wear a 30 SPF in my moisturizer anyway. If you are looking for a great high end type liquid foundation, the Nude Wear Touch of Glow will be your skin’s new best friend.
